Hey all, does anyone take advantage of the overDrive media via the public library system?

I have for the first time over the weekend.

I downloaded a Patricia Cornwell book in protected WMA OverDrive format. I transfered it over to my Nano. Worked like a charm!

Here's another option for me, when the NLS Bard site or my Talking Book library doesn't have what I'm seeking.

Yes, I've been using our one here in Illinois for about a year now. Though toward the end of last year their contract ran out and they renewed with an alternate provider of digital audio books and I'm afraid that the new service doesn't offer nearly the selection that we previously had access too. In fact, I have more books than they currently offer. LOL.

Our library uses both the Netlibrary and the Overdrive system. I can usually find audiobooks on one or the other, though now that I think about it I haven't seen Overdrive in awhile. Generally, Netlibrary uses Recorded Books and Books on Tape, while Overdrive uses Brilliance.

I did for a few books, but I am still rather shocked my library's overdrive doesn't offer any Harry Potters. that's really something else, I'd expect them too since it's such a big series. was looking for ootp and I couldn't find it so I had to go check the actual audio cds out at my library. ah, well....
